A Blue Obsession
All my textiles are hand-dyed by me in my forested backyard on Orcas Island. I currently have five 30-gallon vats going. I typically do a magical mix of organic indigo (some of which was grown on-island!), organic henna, slaked lime, fructose, iron, and water. This all-natural dye creates beautiful, colorfast blue hues and is safe to put right back into the garden!
